Human Rights Musuem

We had a great tour of the Canadian Human Rights Museum. We were told about the architecture of the building and how it relates to Indigenous teachings. We were also shown a wonderful piece of art that was a created using a drum, which is very important in First Nations culture. We found it really beautiful and meaningful, as we were bringing a steel pan to Mikisew as a gift from Toronto. Itah Sadu, owner of A Different Booklist and author arranged it all after the staff and Students come to Toronto.
Our tour guide was actually waiting for some Moose meat from Cross Lake that she was trading for banana cream pies that she was making on Sunday night. It is such a small big world.
