Shipping updates continue on the 3D printer. It is currently at the boarder. We are humbled by the amount of support we have received from people. Students, friends, family, strangers, people have donated generously allowing us to purchase a 3D printer, 12 rolls of filament for the printer and a laptop. We continue to raise funds for books and shipping.We purchased a laptop on the weekend to accompany the 3D printer. We have been busy loading it with software for 3D printing including SketchUP, MakerWare and Thingiverse files just in case the connection is slow, we'll have everything covered!
We've printed some MakerBot educational suggestions, lesson plans, and are getting ready. We will have a week with staff and students in the computer lab at Mikisew to create all sorts of amazing things!

Downsview Technology Design students will be making "How to use SketchUp" videos to share with Mikisew staff and students.
