Making boxes and packing up 48 books we've had donated so far. Remember the goal is 300!
The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir donated some recorders last Spring by ways of a wonderful teacher at Regal Road PS - Ms. MacLeod. They are now being packed with the books to ship to Cross Lake. Any books that are not suitable for the high school library will still be put to good use in the community.
It looks like we might have a lead on shipping four boxes of books to Winnipeg as soon as tomorrow! Another wonderful ex-TDSB teacher who used to teach at Downsview SS and is now a teacher in Winnipeg has been excepting deliveries for us as the holding point between Cross Lake and Toronto. Some DSS alumni might remember her? Thank you Ms. Boock!
